In SOMAstrong, you can expect a thoughtful and mindful approach to movement. Join Jodi for a weekly energising movement practice that blends mat Pilates, embodied movement, and somatic techniques. Each class begins and ends with grounding somatic practices, inviting you to stay present with your embodied sensations as you move.
This 45-minute class combines high-intensity cardio to improve heart rate variability, along with strong isometric holds to build muscular and bone strength. Jodi, an experienced movement teacher, offers a variety of exercise options to suit all capabilities, with modifications and rest available as needed to accommodate your individual needs.
